LATIN DANCE BATTLE FINALE TAKES OVER EXPO LATINO!
We will have the Latin Dance Battle during Expo Latino Festival’s 30th Anniversary celebration, August 14–16 at Prince’s Island Park!
Dancers will take over the Main Stage throughout the weekend, showcasing their talent in Salsa, Bachata, Tango, and Urbano in front of our judging panel — and the audience will have a say too!
THE COMPETITION CONTINUES!
This is more than a showcase. During the Expo Latino weekend, our judges will score the participating dancers and dance teams as they perform on the Main Stage.
Festivalgoers will also have the opportunity to participate by voting on social media for their favourite performers.
The competition will recognize winners in three categories:
- Solo
- Couple
- Team
The final results, incorporating the competition process and audience participation, will be announced at the end of August.

The Latin Dance Battle celebrates four of the rhythms that keep Latin dance floors moving: Salsa, Bachata, Urbano, and Tango.
Throughout the weekend, dancers will bring their technique, creativity, musicality and stage presence to the Expo Latino Main Stage as they compete for the judges’ scores — and for the audience’s support.
